it feels nowhere in sight.
its quite ironic that when the sister was in shanghai over the ndp holidays, there was a travelogue on shanghai showing on local tevee. now that she's in japan, there's another travelogue on japan showing on channel u NOW. funny how life seems to enjoy mocking/teasing us heh.

time; people; life.
time. it never fail to amaze me. how time passes, and how it slips through our fingers.
people. how we always take the people who treat us best for granted, how we never rmb others until we lose them. you dont miss them til they're far away. they dont crop up in your mind til you realise you might not see them, ever. you dont treat them better until they have already slipped out of your reach, when all along they're right before you.
life. how it seems like a long long journey ahead, yet feels like you've already been through forever.

watched a volunteering variety show on channel u just now, reminded me of happy happy days in cambodia and thailand. i think i may have forgoeten the joy of volunteering, of ocips, of simple lifestyle in kampungs, of carefree days in a foreign land. its so easy to forget once you're away. how often must i remind u, lu. why dont you learn? ): i hope i can make it for another ocip trip before i graduate though.
