Maybe it is true that we do not remember days, we remember moments. That is perhaps why flashbacks kept coming at me these days; those moments I remember most distinctly, and which I can only miss much from now.

It's weird/funny/amazing/sad that life can be snuffed out in just a moment, and a moment is all it takes to make a difference. We will all have moments we remember, moments with those closest to us, yet no longer so.
